JULY 14
I have been thinking lately that there is so much stupidness and corruption and deciept and things that block us from what is right and pure and noble and hinders us from hearing the voice of God Himeself who wants so badly to tell us things and the wonderful amazing thing He wants to use us for. Then when things do not go our way, and when we think that He is taking to long to do things for us, we have the audacity to be mad at Him when the reason why we are in the situation is we are in, is usually OUR fault in the first place. I can honestly say that I have never been mad at God, now I am not saying that I am perfect in any way, it's just that I have figured that I have absolutly no reason to be mad at God. He has ALWAYS been good to me even though a lot of time I have been stupid and made bad decisions and not prayed about things just did them my own way, or just been in rotten situations. I can say though that I have been confused by God, upset at situations that I have gotten in, and wondered why I have been allowed to stay in them so long. Then I try and figure out what God is trying to tell me or if it is in the past what lesson am I supposed to take from it, maybe I am supposed to meet someone or influence someone, or go through it to help someone else in the future by the lessons I ahve learned, who knows. In any case I have written down this song By Bethany Dillon, that I always hear the chorus ring in my ears when I am not wanting to be in that place or time and to just remember to say thank you for the things and people I do have (Phillipians 2:14 "DO EVERYTHING WITHOUT COMPLAINING OR ARGUING,") and think on things that are good (Phillipians 4:8 "FINALLY, BROTHERS, WHATEVER IS TRUE, WHATEVER IS NOBLE, WHATEVER IS RIGHT, WHATEVER PURE, WHATEVER IS LOVELY, WHATEVER IS ADMIRABLE--IF ANYTHING IS EXCELLRNT OR PRAISEWORTHY--THINK ABOUT THESE THINGS").
Hallelujah
Who can hold the stars and my weary heart? Who can see everything? I've fallen so hard, sometimes I feel so far, but not beyond Your reach. I could climb a mountain, swim the ocean, or do anything, but it's when You hold me that I start unfolding, and all that I can say is
Chorus
Hallelujah, Hallelujah,
whatever's in front of me help to sing Hallelujah,
Hallelujah, Hallelujah,
whatever's in front of me help to sing Hallelujah
I'll chose to sing Hallelujah
The same sun that rises over castles and welcomes the day, spills over buildings into the streets where orphans play and only You can see the good in broken things, You took my heart of stone and You made it home, and set this prisoner free
Chorus
